Alex Suarez

Alex Suarez is one of my best friends. For the last ten years, he’s been a constant presence in my life—first as a colleague, then as a roommate, an entrepreneur, and ultimately, as a brother.
We met while working at a Christian non-profit, where he was a graphic designer, and I was a video producer. Even then, I could tell Alex was the kind of person who carried weight beyond his work—someone who saw deeper, loved harder, and never hesitated to fight for what truly mattered. Over the years, that quiet strength only grew, shaping him into the man he is today.
I’ve had the privilege of witnessing some of the most defining moments of Alex’s life. I watched him step into marriage with Gabrielle, a man devoted not just in word but in action. I watched him become a father to Eisley and Emery, two beautiful reminders of the legacy he is building. And I’ve listened as he’s shared the significance of being present for his family, knowing that he is the first link in a new chain—one of faith, love, and unwavering commitment.
This past year, I’ve seen Alex contend like never before—for his family, his community, and the people he loves. Through every challenge, he has remained steady, choosing hope over despair, faith over fear. His life is a testament to what it means to show up, not just when it’s easy, but when it’s hard—when it costs something.
Alex carries the weight of legacy on his shoulders, not as a burden, but as a blessing. He wants to be the chainlink of faith in his family’s story, a foundation on which his kids, grandkids, and generations beyond can stand. And knowing him, I have no doubt he will be.
I count myself incredibly blessed to call him my friend. In a world that often feels fractured, Alex is proof that faithfulness, kindness, and love endure. And I know that whatever lies ahead, he’ll continue to build something beautiful—not just for himself, but for all of us lucky enough to walk beside him.
