Randy Eaton and his group of Elk’s volunteers deliver more than 400 backpacks of food EVERY WEEK to children at several Washington County schools. A ministry he’s seen grow from just more than a dozen backpacks 14 years go. “Some of the children who receive these backpacks go home to no parents or adult over the weekend, they’re on their own.” Eaton also said, “that’s why we stock the bags with shelf stable milk, fruits, Vienna sausages, and a fruit bar. Nothing has to be cooked or microwaved, which is safe and sometimes the child’s home has no electricity." Randy Eaton is HOPE for MANY kids!
